The 3 days events (July 13-15, 2009) will be held at Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University. Official invitation and agenda have been sent to your university. All SIFE teams are required to register at www.sifethailand.org/teamregistration.php. by June 29, 2009. SIFE Team’s representatives have to register and submit SIFE team packet on July 13.

To equip and prepare your SIFE teams for the up coming exposition, we have gathered useful resources and materials for your team’s consideration. The resources included Competition Rules & Format, Room Layout, Judge Orientation VDO, Power Point Presentation Template, 2008-2009 SIFE Team Handbook. We would like to encourage your teams to study and make the most use out of the materials provided.

SIFE Thailand would like to remind all SIFE teams to submit Mandatory Reporting Document by Jun 26, 2009 for teams to be permitted to compete in National Exposition. Follow this link www.sife.org/sifeforms and log in with username and password sent from SIFE Thailand to complete those forms. *Teams must mail original signed Project Verification Form to SIFE Thailand office.

The nomination for Faculty Advisor of the year award had been closed with 9 teams nominated their advisors this year. The 2009 Faculty Advisor of the Year Award is given to the Faculty Advisor who has most distinguished himself/herself during the past year as a teacher and mentor, going above and beyond in empowering his/her team to create economic opportunity for others. This award covers a round trip airplane ticket, hotel accommodation and allowance for the 2009 SIFE World Cup Competition Trip in Germany.

Once again, SIFE Thailand would like to remind all teams that The Stock Exchange of Thailand, SIFE Thailand main sponsor, has kindly offered additional award to the teams who implement project(s) that meet SIFE judging criteria 4 (Financial Literacy). SIFE teams are required to use SET official logo representing your team project to be considered for this individual topic competition.  

Guideline for interested SIFE teams!!

Each year, SIFE Thailand presents certificate of appreciation to all active SIFE faculty advisors and SIFE team members for their efforts and commitment to its community. Please make sure name and title of members filled in Active Team Sheet are correct. Please send the correct list to Khun Lapasrada by July 1, 2009. SIFE Thailand will print certificates based on the sheet.

More than 34 SIFE projects in 19 provinces were visited and verified by SIFE Thailand Board of Directors Representatives and volunteer staff. Thanks to SIFE teams and target community for being good host and warm welcome.

Thanks to HSBC for conducting presentation skills workshop to SIFE teams and this year 4 sessions had been held with more than hundred of students benefit from these workshops. SIFE team will now apply knowledge and skills learnt to facilitate their teams’ presentation.
