2009 HSBC Financial Literacy Grant

SIFE and HSBC will choose together which projects to fund. The key criteria for deciding how to allocate 2009 HSBC Financial Literacy Grants will include:
1. Quality: Is it a quality project with clear, relevant and realistic goals?;
2. Results: Is there a commitment to deliver meaningful and measurable results that will have a positive impact on financial literacy education in both the short-term and long-term?;
3. Challenging and innovative: Is the project challenging and innovative and does it have the potential to reach a large audience?;
4. Sustainability: Does the project have a well thought-through action plan to ensure the sustainability of its achievements including effective budgeting, the use of teamwork and/or partnerships and knowledge sharing?; and,
5.  SIFE Criteria 4:  Is the project likely to fulfill the fourth SIFE competition judging criteria for 2008-2009 (i.e. "How effectively did the SIFE team measure and demonstrate that it created economic opportunity by helping others develop the financial management skills necessary to achieve financial independence?")

There were 15 teams from Thailand applied for 2009 HSBC Financial Literacy Grant.
